I got a pretty good deal on this, so i can't be mad. Earlier in the evening, a buddy and i did a little experimenting with it, and...while not accurate, it at least gave a ballpark figure. Fast forward 5 hours. I had two very large and stiff drinks back to back. after waiting approx. 20 minutes, i used the device. Results? .40. Ten minutes later? .40 . 5 minutes after that it registered .38. As of right now....more than 35 minutes after I finished my beverage, I am blowing a .40 again. According to the included pamphlet as well as common knowledge, I should be "comatose". I am a 30 year old male, and weigh about 280lbs. I know that I am for sure not good to drive, but i would estimate my current BAC in the high teens to the mid to low twenties, not .40. I feel that I could actually write a paper or article right now, or take a test that I have studied for.
This machine is far far from reliable. Its greatest use is to convince friends that they are not ok to drive. Numbers twenty minutes after 50ml of 40% alcohol seemed to be more accurate than after several drinks.

I really like this product. It seems to be very accurate and is small, portable, sleek and sexy. You have to wait for the countdown from 30 before you blow which is kinda annoying and then the beep is kinda loud but it works. Definitely worth the $40

This breathalyzer is so inaccurate it's not funny. It read 0.00 when I hadn't had a drop of alcohol but once I took a sip or two, it read .14 or .16 or .40. Just off the charts. Definitely not worth purchasing. Thought it would be good to have and come in handy but just simply didn't work. I returned it.

I received the S30 and tried it out after a couple of drinks and wine, over 4 hours, at home. Waited the 30 minutes and blew a .315, which is supposed to be "unconcious". The next day, after a 22 oz. beer and my wife had one glass of wine, after waiting about 30 minutes, I blew 0.00 and my wife .06. This aparatus is not accurate at all. When I wanted to return it to the Amazon vendor - Ace Photo Digital, they refused the return for sanitary reasons. Don't buy this item but try an upgrade as you will be stuck with it if you try it and get the same results I did.

great product!!! smaller then most cell phones and simple one button operation. if your going to drink, this product will allow you to do so in a responsible way.
