This item exceeded our expectations; it is programmable for multiple garage doors, not just one.
Very pleased with the price... the seller was quite competitive, so I would strongly recommend them!
Works Well - Good Battery LifeFeb 10, 2010
This was easy to setup and program with my existing Genie opener. The lighted buttons make it easy to see at night. I would have give this 5 stars except for one problem. The door seems to fall off sometimes. Sometimes when lifting the door, it comes off in your hand. Other times, it won't close because it's binding on the hinge. It needs to be reseated and then it will close.

remote didn't seem to initially work with my 1995 garage door opener. I did a lot of research to see what would be compatible with an older genie model. When I called the supplier for help, they could not provide any assistance on what keypad to purchase instead but they did refer me to the Genie 1-800 number and they were able to provide assistance - finally, the keypad did work.

The keypad mounts easily and has large, easy to use buttons that are illuminated. The keypad can only use one remote code. It has worked well so far, about two months since purchase.

We forgot to get one of these wireless remote keypads installed when we bought our home, and you notice their absence even more when you're outside and have to trudge through the house to go open the garage door.
I scanned the Genie website looking for a compatible keypad but our model of Intellicode door opener wasn't listed (strange, as they manufactured it), so I wound up calling the Genie help line for assistance. The gentleman who answered told us very quickly that this keypad (GWPK) was the one we needed.
The programming of the keypad's pin code is very simple, and getting the door opener to recognize the pin code is just as easy. All the required steps are printed inside the keypad's plastic cover, so the printed instructions that come in the box are nice but not really necessary to get the keypad up and running. The hardest part was mounting the keypad on the cinder-block wall just outside the door. We have only a single garage door but the instructions say the keypad will operate up to three individual door openers. Oh, and it comes with a 9v battery already installed.
It's been up for 2 days now, so I can't comment on how sturdy or robust the plastic housing might be in the long run. The keypad door lifts up easily, stays up as you press the pin code keys, and than just as easily moves to the closed position. So far it's everything we expected.
