For the most part, I found this unit to be of good value. Both the seller and the manufacturer were very proactive in dealing with a sending unit that was faulty. The seller took it upon themselves to contact the manufacturer on my behalf and arrange for a new unit to be shipped to me immediately and at no cost.
Unfortunately, while I bought this unit on the basis of the manufacturer's own product comparison sheet, in which it claimed to automatically reset the min and max records on a daily basis, the unit does not in fact do that. You have to manually reset the min and max, meaning if you're not religious about doing it every day, by the time you want to go see what the min and max was, the numbers are completely context-free and useless.
An auto-reset on the min and max was my primary reason in purchasing this unit over a less-expensive one from the same manufacturer, so of course it was disappointing to say the least. On the other hand, this unit also provides a barometer and humidity output, so there's still value in the more expensive unit.
