This shelf is wonderful and just what I wanted and needed. The only failing point is with respect to installation - I have still not been able to get the piece attached that is supposed to hold and hide the cords. It may be that I have too many cords, but I have tried everything and they should fit (there are only 4), but it just won't close over them and so it is just hanging there instead of flush with the wall as the pictures suggests it should.

This product is exactly what I was looking for to put below my wall mounted TV in our master bedroom. It holds the reciever and dvd player with no problems. The ONLY thing about this product is it sticks out about 15 inches from the wall.... So for a flat screen, wall mounted and your components sticking out a little bit, it causes us to have to avoid it. But we have placed a small table that goes under it to place pictures on and help cover up the cords in the tracking we have on the wall.

It was easy to install and really like it..kindof wish the arm didn't extend so far out.

I searched high and low for a shelf for my projector so that I don't have to ceiling mount it. This fits it PERFECTLY, literally couldn't be an smaller or bigger. It's a very nice and strong shelf. My father wants one for himself now. You can't go wrong with the price either, every local store I went to had smaller and much cheaper quality (non-glass) shelves and they were just as much as this one.

I see a lot of complaints about the shelf being too large or sticking out to far etc. The picture is decieving and would not work well with a wall mounted TV because it does extend outwards. With my setup, my TV stand does not have space for a larger center speaker, and so this stand works perfectly for me because it is being used to hold up a 22lb center channel above my TV. The longer arm on this stand is perfect for me because it sits nicely for my set-up. The contruction is quality with a nice heavy steel plate, a thick piece of tempered glass and a nice looking steel arm. For those that are complaining about drywall installation, that again is user's error. The manufacturer's instructions tell you to locate a stud using a stud finder and mount it on a stud. It mentions no where mounting it in dry wall only. The screws are big and long (that's what she said) and work well with the shelf. I have no worries about the shelf falling out of the wall whatsoever.
Again, if you remove human error (which is impossible), then this product was well thought out and nicely constructed. Now if Amazon had a user rating system instead...
