And I mean chunky, porky, obese, but I love it! I fumble these darn phones all the time and the battery pops out, cases get ruined but alas, no more with my Otterbox. I work heavy demolition and this is the case I and all my colleagues use. We chose the yellow-black for visibility if dropped and it has been helpful. Only complaint I have is that the charger flap is running a bit thin and appears to be close to tearing off, but it is still intact after 6 mos of hard play. The case does seem to dampen the speaker phone's volume but not all that significantly. Good case for the right price! Thanks Otterbox.

Not the most attractive cover, but certainly the most durable. Holds up not only to my clumsiness, but also to my toddler.

This is a great case to protect your Blackberry 8830 and offers great fit, great quality and gives you great peace of mind when using your phone in not so nice places where a drop could prove to be a very expensive error. Has a rugged military look which goes well with my Ruggedized ex-military laptop.

After looking through the many available BB8800 cases around the net the Otterbox appeared to be the best. After a few weeks of use it has proven itself. It's an easy case to disassemble and reassemble to clean (don't use the plastic cover shell) every other weekend as dust and pocket lent collects in the corners of the screen. It does add a little weight and added dimensions, but fits well in side pockets though not suggested when wearing tight jeans.
