 Bring back the original design.Jul 02, 2010
Please, Vacu Vin, won't you bring back the old design?! Those slightly softer ones with the slit on the top and three ridges on the bottom? The ones that don't, on occasion, slip up in the bottle, leaving wine oxidized -- the ones that don't fall out in transit, spoiling a cooler's content with spilt wine? I have a couple of the old ones left and am guarding them with great care, so as not to lose one of these precious, quality stoppers. Won't you please make these again? You could even call them "deluxe" and sell them for 50% more. One bottle of spilt or stale wine would make it worth a return to quality -- and I have had three such disappointment with this design.

These new stoppers fit, pump, and hold a better vacuum than their predecessors. That said, they have always worked as advertised, keeping things fresh in a canister or bottle; wine often lasting two weeks after being opened.

THESE EXTRA CORKS WERE ORDERED WITH A VACUUM PUMP(SEPARATE ITEM SAME VENDOR). THEY DON'T WORK WITH VACUUM PUMP.

The best wine stopper on the market. You can effortlessly remove the air from an opened wine bottle and seal it. The "clicking" sound lets you know when you are done creating the vacuum. Wine stays fresh for days.

We lost some of our winer saver stoppers and needed replacements. I'm happy that the new design stoppers work with the old design pump, as other reviewers have found. This is a good and simple product!
