 Personally i feel this is the best functional protective case for iphone...May 22, 2010
Personally i feel this is the best functional protective case for iphone. I did a lot of research to find the most protective case for my iphone to protect my expensive fragile phone. This case was the winner after many hours of research on cases. Silicon casses seem to be the best as I dropped my phone in this case and the rubbery silicon case absorbs some of the impact and bounces. Dropped my phone twice in this case and the phone and the case where not even scratched. Hardshell casses I have seen my friends that have them, when they drop the case cracks and you have to get a new one. Plus the hardshell casses do not absorb the impact.
The other great thing about this case which is a life saver for iphones is the detachable front shield. I can through my phone in my backpack and not have to worry about the screen getting squished against my keys or other hard objects that could scratch or damage the screen. Also If you drop the case while taking it out or putting it in your pocket, the front cover protects the screen from falls onto perturbing surfaces which would normally crack the screen in one blow.
After using the case you get the hang of taking the front shield off and slipping it onto the back of the case to answer a call. It fits nicely on the back.
Sure the hardshell casses look sexier however it is worth getting the iskin revo2 with front shield protection.
You would think i work for the company but I don't, just super pleased with the case and I refer it to all my friends. haha maybe I should start selling these things.
I'm hopping iskin will have a similar case ready to go for the new iphones coming out this summer which will be a different shape.

It is quite secure iphone case, but still unconformable, quite hard to take it off your pocket and the plastic cover needs to be removed to answer or make any search in your phone, so even worst if you use a pin to protect your phone, since it covers all the phone, the buttons on top and volume are difficult (not impossible) to manipulate making you to spend too much time fighting with the case. Silicon material is fine when new but absorbs a lot of dust, so once again you have to take time cleaning it. I got this case but also have the Griffin Clarifi, that is much much better in material, quality and phone access..

I like this product because it adds some grip and handle to the iPhone. I did not use the included screen protector as I already had one in place when I first purchased the phone. With handling the phone, I sometimes felt like I would drop it putting it in and out of a holster (not the one for the iSkin Revo). Additionally, putting the phone on certain surfaces, I was afraid I would scratch the back. Overall, the iSkin works great for what I want it to do: feels more secure in my hand and protects the phone from my typical everyday use.
I ended up purchasing the holster that goes with the iSkin Revo. Although it does hold the phone nicely with the iSkin on, I really didn't like it with the iPhone face facing outward. Also, it just seemed much bigger on my hip than the original holster I got.

HANDS DOWN THESE ARE THE BEST CASES FOR IPHONE. I OWN LIKE 10 CASES AND I HAVE 3 of THESE AND THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES I USE. I have a white iphone so the colors fit hte white very well. I saw these at the apple store in tulsa and got them on amazon for much less money! They are great at protecting the phone if you drop it or whatever.
