1Impossible Installation, Noticeable Degradation of Screen ClarityJul 04, 2010
Of the numerous screen protector films I have owned, this is, without a doubt, the the worst. Here's why:

1. It is nearly impossible to install without the patience of a saint. Even if you meticulously follow the instructions, satisfactory results can be elusive.
2. The transparency quality is fair at best.
3. It is grossly overpriced (there are several protective products out there that are, in my opinion, a much better value).

1Invisible Shield will make your money disappear.Jul 01, 2010
This shield is very difficult to put on to your phone. I followed the instructions that was very difficult to see due to the extremely small writing and once I put my fingerprints on it which is so easy to do I have to throw it away. I paid $21 for the Iphone 4 shield because it since it just recently came out all the shields at other stores around me were out of the less priced shields. This shield should be less expensive in case you mess up and believe me you are bound to.

Invisibly not yours,
MT

4VERY nice protection, VERY difficult to applyJun 26, 2010
I just finished applying the screen protector a couple of hours ago. The front was pretty easy, there was only a small air bubble left smaller than an ant. The back however was extremely difficult, at least for me. The back protection for this phone covers the whole back as well as the curves on the side and corners. While trying to flatten and squeeze all of the air out of the center, the corners and curves of the cover would flap up a bit, making me have to go back and re-flatten them, only to create more air bubbles else where.

Before applying, the instructions warn you to wash your hands thoroughly and to apply some of the screen applicator liquid on your fingertips which is VERY helpful. Don't worry about fingerprint marks if you follow these directions, after applying everything, there were no prints to be seen.

I also just received a new case, the Incipio Silicrylic V3, which I'm using to squeeze the corners of the protector in so that the sides will stick. I have tried scratching the screen and so far, no marks have been left, so overall, I am pretty happy with this.

2Not for the faint of touchMay 22, 2010
The plastic screen shield was almost beyond my ability to put on straight, even after watching the video and following the instructions very carefully. It sticks like mad to everything (fingers, phone, particles of dust in the air). Once I had it on, air bubbles and trapped dirt made the result very disappointing.

The next day I peeled it off, lathered on more solution (worrying if that was safe for my phone) and managed to get it on without too much by way of dirt or bubbles. As promised in the directions, remaining bubbles vanished on their own within a day. The result is a bit crooked, a bit harder to operate than the unprotected screen, and has a bit of dirt trapped underneath, but mostly I'd call it acceptable and it does seem quite sturdy.

Today I decided to put on the body shield. Despite my best efforts, it ended up crooked, with bits of bunched up plastic around the cutouts. I tried twice, then balled it up and tossed it.

Another concern about skin tight plastic is heat - my iPhone seems to run quite hot, depending on the application, and I'm pretty sure it won't dissipate heat as well with the full body shield.

All in all, I've decided to go with a rubber case that I can pop on and off as needed.

2Invisishield reviewMay 20, 2010
In the past I've scratched the screen on my iPhone. Due to a warranty repair, got the screen replaced and thought its a perfect occasion to install one of these full body protections.

I bought Invisishield from Zagg's website. Got a half off coupon by signing up for their newsletter. So the price was good.

Then yesterday I decided to get my hands dirty. Literally.
I reviewed the instructions a billion times. Watched videos on youtube/zagg's website.

Have to say.. the installation was NOT a walk in the park. It didn't come with a spray but a sponge, and it seemed however amount of liquid I applied, it would instantly dry up and the screen would stick to my fingers/phone while applying. After 2 hours of application, I ended up with ok result on the back and front and bad on the top and bottom portions (they wouldn't stay on the corners.. i tried the palming techniques and everything).

Then.. I left it alone overnight.. as suggested..

Now check this out.. I turn on my phone in the morning.. and I get the error - "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone Charging is not supported with this accessory. Would you like to turn on Airplane Mode to reduce audio interference? You will not be able to make or receive calls."

My iPhone was not syncing with iTunes. And no sound was coming out of the speakers! Come to think of it.. I didn't even use much of the application solution.

I looked it up and came to this link: [...]

Have a genius appointment tonight at the apple store.. But I have the feeling that they're gonna say its water damage and not fix my phone. To make it worse, the shield has a bunch of bubbles in it that I didn't see last night..

Not sure if I'd recommend this product.
